2/17/2009 - Obama's Inaugural Address

In Obama's address to the public, Obama persuades people to believe in him and follow him by telling people about the past, present and future. He tells the people he address' what needs to be done and what he is going to try to do for us. What made his address persuadable to me was when he stated "The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works--," than he mention things like decent wages, health care, and retirement compensations. Things such as decent wages, and health care is something I could really relate to and to hear him speak of it in a good way, makes me have more confident in him as a president.
